Claustrophobic computer parts rejoice! The Antec Skeleton is coming
We’re always being told to “Think outside the box.” Well, Antec is putting their money where there mouth is with their upcoming “Skeleton” case.  And they aren’t offering the bare bones minimum with it either.  There is plenty of room for expansion with 7 expansion slots and 4 drive bays.  2 of the drive bays are internal and 2 are external.  If you take advantage of expanding the capabilities of your computer, you are going to need some more cooling than just an open case.  Antec throws in a front-mount hard drive cooling fan and a 250mm fan on top (that’s the bowl looking thing with the Antec logo).  If you are feeling extra-funky, you can even enjoy the fact that the fan is multi-colored. Slotmusic: an album on an SD card

Slotmusic: an album on an SD card
I think the main reason this news appeals to me is that it’s off-the-scale CUTE. Yes, I can be that easily bought. Storage device company Sandisk has announced the imminent launch of music on SD cards: instead of a CD, you could buy music on a teeny-weeny little SD and be listening to er, The White Stripes (are they still cool?), via your cell phone, your car, your computer’s SD slot, or… well, I guess that’s about it. The question is, given that many of us have MP3 players… why bother? Still, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI and Warner obviously think this idea has legs, as they’ve all agreed to release albums on the new format. Humanscale Switch both ergonomically and ambidextrously correct
No one should ever underestimate the value of ergonomics. More and more people these days are suffering from carpel tunnel or repeated wrist syndrome every day. Surely there is more that users can do than just shake their hands after a long day on the desktop or laptop. One of the great contributors to the plague of repeated wrist syndrome lies right next to your computer. That’s right, the mouse is one of the great contributors to carpel tunnel, and something has to be done for users unless they want to have some metal bands on their hands. Humanscale has created an adjustable ergonomic mouse called the Switch. It has an adjustable palm rest and size for ergonomic stability. CherryPal PC Delayed To Vaporware Status…Almost
Looks like CherryPal’s $249 cloud computing PC has been delayed to a couple more weeks despite being originally scheduled for an early August release, making many people wonder whether this is yet another vaporware to hit the gizmo industry. My heart goes out to folks who have enough faith to place a pre-order, and hopefully CherryPal will work out the glitch in the graphics processor as soon as possible. Good thing the folks at CherryPal are offering a refund for those who are tired of waiting for the product - I’d say take your money and drop it on a new G1 Android phone instead with some spare change in the pocket as well.
