iPhone gets suite of applications

iPhone gets suite of applications
The iPhone is definitely one of the more popular cell phones in the world at this point in time, at least in the mid-range group and above. After all, with the impending release of the 3G iPhone, you can bet your bottom dollar (or whatever denomination) that come July 11th, there will be a frenzy for this new handset, never mind the blood-sucking 2-year contract attached with it in certain places. With a phone this magical, surely there must be something more than the looks and ease-of-use that drives it? I believe that software on the iPhone does play a role in its huge popularity, and having said that, I would like to draw your attention to iPhoneApps - a ground-breaking, unique new software application product that features a generous choice of 10 of the most popular and commonly used PC applications that run non your iPhone. It didn’t take long – user generated Spore porn

Written by admin on Monday, June 23rd, 2008 in devices and gadgets.

The Spore Creature Creator has been available for less than a week, but has already gone down a storm with gamers. Hundreds of thousands of creatures have already been created in the free or paid-for versions of the tool, all in anticipation of the game being released later this year.

Not all those creatures are “safe for work”, however, and the tool has also been the basis for something known as Sporn. You can probably guess that’s short for “Spore porn”.

Giant penises, naked women and a creature that is literally just a pair of breasts walking around have all appeared.

Fire Footbag Game
Now this is definitely one game that will get the adrenaline pumping, and I suggest making sure that your home fire insurance is up-to-date before you indulge in a little Fire Footbag game. Made from flameproof Kevlar fibers, you soak it in kerosene, set it on fire and start kicking it. I wonder what happens if we make a game of soccer out of this - the goalkeepers will definitely have a scorching hot time on their hands, pun intended. The Fire Footbag retails for $24.99 for some hot fun. Tags: computers, digital, gear, gps (Read the full post about ‘Fire Footbag Game’…)

WiiBrator Brings Sweet Relief

WiiBrator Brings Sweet Relief
The Wii homebrew scene isn’t just all about software but hardware as well, with the WiiBrator being the latest device that makes the Wiimote an alternative “relaxation” device. This is a highly advanced technology demo of a Wii vibrator. Use at your own risk. For educational purposes only. Wii remote jacket is supported for enhanced comfort…Do not try to use this with either the Wii Zapper or Wii Wheel peripherals. Injury may result from use. This isn’t where the innovation train stops though, as there are plans in the future to integrate the WiiBrator into the main Homebrew Channel menu, along with plans to add a “stimulating” slideshow image support, online multiplayer mode (what the..?!), USB webcam support and the ability to work with up to four Wiimotes simultaneously. Big Time Digital Wall Clock
For those who suffer from an inferiority complex and want to have the biggest of just about everything, perhaps this Big Time Digital Wall Clock would fit the bill. Measuring 100cm x 50cm in size, you surely won’t miss out on the current time even if you suffer from poor eyesight without the help of glasses. If only it came with an alarm that is equally loud - now that’d be something worth considering for a purchase. 3G iPhone Gets Multiple Resellers

Written by admin on Monday, June 23rd, 2008 in devices and gadgets.

3G iPhone Gets Multiple Resellers
At least for those who purchased their 3G iPhone from Germany, that is. Word has it that no longer will the consumer need to be shackled down by being locked into visiting just T-Mobile stores, as a deal has already been inked, allowing Gravis to sell T-Mobile service plans and the 3G iPhone, of course. Is this a good or a bad thing? I suppose being able to get the iphone in more stores other than just T-Mobile retail outlets would enhance 3G iPhone sales somewhat due to the convenience factor. There is no official confirmation from Apple and T-Mobile concerning this matter though.
