Leaked live images Palm Treo 800w
Some more images of the upcoming Palm Treo 800w have been making their way around the Internet, the latest however are pretty clear, well clear compared to some previous leaked images anyway, and show off both the front and back side. The Sprint-branded Treo 800w, as if the “w” was not indication enough is clearly pictured running non other than Windows Mobile as the OS. Overall a slightly better looking Treo than previous models, but it seems that there is nothing much to get overly excited about. Aiptek joins the fold with PocketCinema V10 mini-projector
by Darren Murph, posted Jun 5th 2008 at 7:02PM If there are two things Aiptek knows, it’s cheap and small. Along with Foxconn and Honlai, Aiptek is introducing a pocket-sized projector over in Taipei, and it’s being eloquently dubbed the PocketCinema V10. Reportedly, the device taps 3M’s miniature projection technology to shoot up a 50-inch image, and if you don’t have a bona fide source laying around, it can still entertain guests by reading from the 1GB of internal memory or 3-in-1 multicard reader. ZAC browser developed for autistic children
The most successful applications are usually created out of a great need. That was the story behind the creation of a new browser called the ZAC Browser. The browser was created as a computer playground for Zackary who was diagnosed as severely autistic back in 2005. The ZAC Browser was built through the work of Zackary’s grandfather, John LeSieur, who is in the software business. RSI at record high in the UK

Written by admin on Thursday, June 5th, 2008 in devices and gadgets.

Microsoft has commissioned research into the current state of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) and the results are not good. A poll of 1,000 office workers and managers concluded that 68% of them were suffering from some form of RSI including back, shoulder, wrist and hand pain.

The research also found that RSI is not getting reported because people are just not associating the aches they feel with their work. The blame for such injuries is being placed on mobile working, which sees many of us taking work home and using laptops a lot more.

The advice from health and safety experts is to ensure there is better education within the workplace regarding RSI.
