For reference, U.K Police carry 50,000V stun guns… Tags: gizmos, electronic toys, DAB, speakers (Read the full post about ‘Stun Gun Disguised as a Sony Ericsson W700 Phone Delivers 900,000V’…)

Acer Aspire 6920 and 8920G hands-on
Posted Mar 12th 2008 4:44PM by Paul MillerFiled under: Features, Laptops We got a good long look at those new Gemstone Blue notebooks from Acer, the Aspire 6920 (16-inch) and 8920G (18.4-inch). We can’t say we’re crazy about the “CineTouch” controls to the left of the keyboard, and both laptops — while certainly thin for their class — are still bulky enough to make our chiropractor take pause. That said, Acer is certainly working a lot more design polish into its product, and the specs are, as ever, quite lovable. (Read the full post about ‘Acer Aspire 6920 and 8920G hands-on’…)

DIY contraption takes post-it notes paperless
Posted Mar 12th 2008 8:36AM by Darren MurphFiled under: Displays, Household Truth be told, Audiovox has already perfected the digital post-it note with the DPF711K, but if you’re all about flexing that DIY muscle and giving everything your own personal touch, we’ve little doubt that you’ll prefer this iteration. Granted, this isn’t the simplest of projects we’ve come across, but if you can handle a fair amount of soldering and aren’t too bad at following directions, you may actually be able to pull it off. Quite simply, the resulting product enables users to input text via fingertip onto the dark pad shown above, and whatever you scribble in appears on the makeshift post-it note. Review: Nyko’s Cord-Free for Wii Nunchuk
When the Nintendo Wii first came out, the biggest issue was that people would let go of the Wii remote and destroy their brand new TVs. Nintendo solved this issue on its own, adding a tighter cinch cord to better fasten the remotes to our wrists. But then another problem arose for some finicky gamers: it’s not a totally wireless gaming experience. Why is the nunchuk tethered to the remote? Enter Nyko’s Cord-Free for Wii nunchuk. Available since Tuesday, the device assembles pretty much exactly as you’d expect. You simply plug the wired nunchuk into the provided sleeve, and it quickly and easily transforms it into a wireless nunchuk. (Read the full post about ‘Review: Nyko’s Cord-Free for Wii Nunchuk’…)

LEGO Touch Concept

LEGO Touch Concept
The LEGO Touch concept definitely makes the iphone even more appealing, letting you carry virtually unlimited Lego bricks in your pocket, where a cover-flow type interface enables one to go through every Lego brick imaginable, building up just about any Lego model you want simply by dragging the desired pieces around with your fingers. For more intricate models, you can always zoom in or out in the similar manner as you would do for a normal image on an iPhone. This is a concept at this point in time, so the final product from Play-Nyc might be different. Hopefully there will be various Lego sets to choose from - I know I would go nuts over everything Star Wars. (Read the full post about ‘LEGO Touch Concept’…)
