Here Comes the Greatest iPhone Webapp Ever [Software]

Here Comes the Greatest iPhone Webapp Ever [Software]
Maxim Magazine isn’t usually known for their software engineering efforts (though I know for a fact that software engineers love them despite of this), but their iPhone weather checker takes the cake. And by cake, we mean boobs. Lots of boobs. Every time you refresh your weather, you’ll get a new “hometown hottie” from Maxim’s extensive archives. Sure, the default weather app can give you the temperature and tell you if you need to wear a jacket, but it’s a little short on the “rub-one-out-o-meter”. Sony DSC-T300: Sony’s Top Line Slim Cam [Digital Cameras]
The T300 is Sony’s newest high-end slim camera, with a 10.1MP sensor, a 16:9 3.5 inch screen and a 5x Carl Zeiss 5x zoom (33-165mm). The camera can dynamically switch between five scene modes, trigger the shutter when it detects a smile, face detect with priority for adults and children, searching through photos by face, improved focusing at close distance, image stabilization and a high ISO or 3200 for light sensitivity rare on a camera this small. It can output 1080p slideshows to an HDTV. $400. Unfortunately, it does use a Memory StickDuo, and that 3200 ISO rating can’t be anything but grainy. galleryPost(’sonyt300′, 3, ”); SONY’S CYBER-SHOT DSC-T300 CAMERA COMBINES FUNCTION WITH STYLE SAN DIEGO, Jan. Human Touch Zero-Gravity Massage Chair

Human Touch Zero-Gravity Massage Chair
Billed as the “World’s first zero-gravity massage chair”, what else can I say but to let the specs do the talking? After all, forking out a whopping $3,995 for something like this, one would definitely expect some very real (and painful) returns. Combines incredibly realistic and therapeutic Human Touch® massage with zero-gravity ergonomics. As you rotate into the zero-gravity position, the pivoting “Z” shape cradles your spine in a stress-free position; elevates your legs above your heart for improved circulation; eases tense muscles; and increases oxygen intake by expanding lung capacity. T-Mobile has reported a break-in at one of their warehouses that resulted in the theft of approximately 36,000 phones, which holds a value of around $8.2 million. Sneak peek at Pentax’s K20D, K200D DSLRs
Posted Jan 23rd 2008 10:18AM by Darren MurphFiled under: Digital Cameras Obviously, we can’t confirm nor deny the authenticity of the above image, but a particular Japanese citizen managed to snag several ads that do a fairly decent job of showing off the supposedly forthcoming K20D and K200D DSLRs. On the downside, most everything here is penned in Japanese, but on the upside, there’s several more non-blurry (say it ain’t so!) images where this one came from — including one dedicated to lenses — waiting in the links below. Skype for PSP Postponed (UPDATED) [Sony]

Skype for PSP Postponed (UPDATED) [Sony]
We brought you the fantastic news that Skype would be coming to a PSP carrying pocket near you soon, but it seems the plans have been disrupted. Sony Japan has just released information detailing an indefinite delay, as they screwed up on the headsets that were required—Sony’s microphone/speaker units failed to meet Skype certification standards. Don’t be surprised when this announcement is replicated the world over. We aren’t happy bunnies. [Sony Japan] Update: Kotaku’s people are saying all is well for everyone else, it’s only Japan that are having their Skype PSP service delayed-phew! (Sorry Japan.) Panasonic Dictaphones Have Zoom Microphones

Panasonic Dictaphones Have Zoom Microphones
Having a voice recorder around can be pretty handy since you will be able to keep vocal notes of your thoughts on-the-fly. Panasonic has just rolled out a couple of new models - the RR-US950-K and RR-US750-S. Both are powered by a single AAA battery and comes with USB interface and MP3 recording capability. I’m interested in the 4x Zoom Microphone - imagine being able to pick up noises from further away without putting in the extra effort. In essence, the Zoom Microphone will force both mics on the Dictaphone to focus its recording on a single direction by doing away with surrounding left and right sound.
