Tooth Tunes: Brush ‘n’ roll!

Written by admin on January 16th, 2008 in devices and gadgets.

Brush ‘n’ roll just about sums it all up. The new Tooth Tunes toothbrush can get you shaking your booty while brushing those (hopefully) pearly whites.

Tooth Tunes toothbrushes use a bone-conduction technology wherein sound waves from the music are transmitted via the jawbone to your inner ear. Think hearing voices inside your head, except it’s so much better! Needless to say, you can only hear music while the bristles are in contact with your teeth.

If you want to pump up the volume, simply brush a bit harder. And in case you’ve got enough of the pseudo-schizophrenism (no, no, that’s not a real word), you can always flick the switch off.

There are three different variants available — three toothbrushes each playing a different music: Survivor by Destiny’s Child, We Will Rock You by Queen, and Let’s Get it Started by the Black Eyed Peas. Each clip lasts 2 minutes long, same length of time dentists recommend for brushing your teeth.

Cool, eh? You can get a music-playing-in-your-noggin-toothbrush for 7.95 each in Firebox.
