MOTORAZR2 V8 Luxury Edition only available through MOTO Store
Underneath the shiny 18k gold plate, and tucked within the 12.05mm shell there is actually a pretty powerful cell phone but at $679.99 (unlocked) you are without paying for the “lavish 18k gold plated accents, engraved details and a black snakeskin pattern”, or not as the case may be! If you do want to buy it you will need to buy it direct from the MOTO Store in the US, or more probably get the person that does that kind of stuff for you to do it as I am pretty sure that us mere mortals aren’t the target market for this cell phone. If you do get one you will be able to enjoy 8 hours talk time, 8 days of standby time, and of course it comes in a nice box and with a nice mini strap and polishing cloth to keep it nice and clean. Hands-on with the ASUS R50A
Posted Jan 10th 2008 8:10AM by Joshua TopolskyFiled under: CES, Features, Handhelds It’s been a real MID / UMPC bonanza at CES this year, and we’re not done quite yet. We got to handle the ASUS R50A at the company’s small — yet crowded — booth, and we’ve brought back pictures for the gang. While the design is fairly solid on the device, the unit feels a bit slippery to the touch. The button / navigation placement works, though coming to grips with everything wasn’t exactly a smooth transition. Once again, we’re seeing that miniaturized Vista, and honestly, we’re not totally convinced this is the platform of choice for these pixel-dense screens. Check out the gallery and see the little guy in action.Gallery: Hands-on with the ASU (Read the full post about ‘Hands-on with the ASUS R50A’…)

Atlantic EGO iceBar2 Waterproof Speaker System for iPods
I believe that our Apple iPods are built to be durable, but they are not that durable. I’ve heard that thousands of cell phones are dropped into toilets everyday, so you can imagine that iPod’s are just as vulnerable. I don’t have a stat about how many iPods get flushed each day, but I imagine a nano would actually make it all the way to the ocean. The iceBar2 is designed specifically to keep an iPod nano safe from water damage in any situation. Okay, not any situation, but up to three meters of water. This iceBar2 Speaker System is a waterproof and shatterproof case which can protect the iPod from not only dust and scratches, and that wet foe: water.
